Here we go again, and a warm welcome to all new subscribers who signed up since I last wrote to you exactly six months ago. As you can possibly tell from the layout, I’m now publishing on Substack. I’ll introduce you to some of the amazing writers on the platform in future posts; however, I want to very much encourage you to just sign up and start reading the many wonderful publications on Substack.
Worth Listening To
I’ve been enjoying this amazing well-done podcast featuring David Remnick, the editor-in-chief of The New Yorker. The famed publication just turned 100, and after reading a few articles every now and then, this podcast convinced me to finally become a subscriber!
Worth Watching
Zero Day is a current Netflix hit starring Robert DeNiro as a former US president called back from retirement to resolve the aftermath of a cyberterrorism attack —highly recommended. This limited series, consisting of six episodes, depicts a very plausible future scenario for our hyper-connected, digital world.
On a lighter note, check out the hilarious Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest, now halfway through Season 4 and getting better with every episode. The show explores the inner workings of a modern company in a very funny way, and the character development of the whole cast is sensational!
Of course all previous editions of David’s Dearest have transferred over, so you can dive into them (again)!
